Kanchanar corrects the imbalance in hormones and helps in relieving menstrual disorders like anovulation and amenorrhea, It is beneficial for the female reproductive system as well as PCOD, hypothyroidism, endometriosis, and fibroids in females. It is effective in reducing the size of enlarged lymph nodes in the neck and groin regions. Kanchanar reduces the size of nasal polyps which allows for easier breathing processes. It can also be used for tonsillitis, improvement of liver function (by maintaining proper metabolism and liver function), jaundice, mouth ulcers, bad breath, skin disorders, fat reduction, painful urination (due to infections in the urinary tract), hemorrhoids, blood purification (expels toxins and waste from blood), hypoglycemia, dysentery and diarrhea. It pacifies kapha and pitta.
Cautions:
Kanchanar, when used for abnormal growths and swollen glands, should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment.
