Daru Haridra, or tree turmeric, is known as the best herb for supporting the immune system. It is good at reducing intolerances or allergies such as allergic reactions to foods such as wheat or dairy that are acquired over time. These intolerances stem from an over-active immune system from too many toxins in the body. It can also be used for other ailments such as jaundice, enlargement of the spleen, fever, morning sickness, and rheumatism, along with eye, ear, and throat related disorders.
Cautions:
Daru Haridra has a heating quality that might interact with hyperacidity and gastritis. It also may lower blood sugar levels. It is generally advised to monitor your blood sugar levels while using Daru Haridra with anti-diabetic medicines or treatments. Women should also consult with their physicians before taking during pregnancy.
