Shipping and Return Policies

Shipping Policy

At Ayurvedic Resources, we are a small business that prepares many of our products in custom, small batches. Because of this, we strive to ship all orders within 7 business days of purchase.

Please note: during sales events and holiday periods, our lead time may extend to 10-14 business days due to higher order volume.

Shipping Costs & Estimates

  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery dates are provided at checkout, based on product availability, destination, and the shipping option you select.
  • Many of our items are weight-based. In line with carrier policies, shipping weights are rounded up to the next full pound (as shown on the product detail page).

International Customers

We are pleased to ship to most addresses worldwide. However, some items may be restricted in certain destinations.

  • For a potentially lower shipping rate than what our website displays, international customers may email us their:

    • Full Name
    • Address
    • Phone Number
    • Email Address
    • Item(s), including quantity and size(s)

  • We work directly with carriers to secure discounted rates and will provide you with a tailored shipping option when possible.

Carrier Selection

If you select a more expensive shipping method but we have a faster and/or more cost-effective option available, we reserve the right to adjust the shipping method. Should this occur, we will notify you of the change and provide updated tracking information.

Our goal is to ensure your order ships quickly, affordably, and arrives in excellent condition.

Return Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, our return policy is designed to be simple and fair. Please review the guidelines below before initiating a return.

Timeframe for Returns

  • Full Refund: Unopened products may be returned within 45 days from the date of the order for a full refund.
  • Store Credit: Unopened products may be returned within 60 days from the date of the order for store credit.
  • Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply for certain returns.

Damaged or Defective Products

  • If your order arrives damaged or you receive a defective product, you are eligible for a full refund or replacement at no additional cost.
  • Please provide clear photos of the damaged packaging or product when submitting your return request so that we may resolve the issue promptly.
  • We reserve the right to request that the damaged item be returned as is or to ask the customer to responsibly dispose of the defective product. This decision will be made based on the information provided, allowing us to evaluate both the environmental impact and the cost-effectiveness of the return.

Refund Requests for Unshipped Orders

If you would like to cancel your order for a refund before it has shipped, please contact us as soon as possible:

Refunds for unshipped orders will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow up to 30 days for the refund to appear depending on your bank’s processing times.

  5. Reason for Return

Email is the fastest way to reach us. We are often unable to answer calls immediately; leaving a message ensures we can return your call more promptly.

Additional Notes

  • All items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
  • Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.
    • Please allow up to 30 days for refunds to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
  • Store credits will be issued directly through our website and will automatically appear as a discount on your next order. Store credits are generally available within 7–10 business days from the date your return is received and processed.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., damaged or defective items).
