Ashoka is revered in Ayurveda for its cooling properties. It commonly is used for female reproductive system issues, pain disorders, and works as an anti-fungal for infections of the vagina. Despite these common uses, Ashoka is also used as a tonic to help treat deep-seated grief, regulates pH in the colon, and stimulates liver function.
